Shawntelle L. Fisher: Founder / CEO
Elder Shawntelle L. Fisher is a highly anointed and very influential leader, speaker, teacher, and dancer who serves with excellence and integrity. She holds both a Bachelor in Educational Studies and a B.S. in Media Studies from the University of Missouri St. Louis and two Master degrees at Washington University and Eden Theological Seminary. She is the founder and CEO of a non-profit, The SoulFisher Ministries and has a passion to see lives transformed and restored. Through her own struggles and pitfalls in life she was guided by caring members in the community to a path of restoration and possibilities. Through The SoulFisher Ministries she is spreading hope and empowering youth and those formerly incarcerated, to be positive productive, and socially responsible members in the community.

Mission Statement:
The mission of The SoulFisher Ministries is to respond to the needs of youth with incarcerated parents and to promote restorative justice for those currently or formerly incarcerated.
Vision Statement:
The vision of The Soulfisher Ministries is to embrace the world in a network of charity as defined in the Word of God. We desire to see young people educated and empowered to succeed in life and broken lives and homes re-established through education, job training and employment, computer literacy, and transitional housing. Our ultimate goal is to re-empower formerly incarcerated women to be productive influences in their family and community and to help break the cycle of the school-to-prison pipeline.

DeNyne Carter, MSW
Reentry Program Coordinator
DeNyne Carter is a proud native of Detroit, Michigan. DeNyne holds a B.A. in Psychology from The University of Michigan and a Master of Social Work from The Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis where she focused on violence and injury prevention. As the AGAPE Reentry Program Coordinator at The SoulFisher Ministries, DeNyne oversees pre and post-release services within the program, supervises the case management team, manages volunteers and interns within the organization, and diligently works to assist with the expansion of the reentry program. DeNyne hopes to continue making an impact in the community by providing quality resources for individuals within the justice system.
LaDaisha Miller, BSW
Educational Case Manager
St. Louis native LaDaisha Miller is the Educational Case Manager at The SoulFisher Ministries. Her keen interest in child services led her to pursue a Bachelor of Social Work from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri. Post-graduation, LaDaisha struggled to find her niche in the social work field. She’s held an array of titles, none of which challenged her enough to reach her full potential and excel beyond comfortability. That was until she was almost immediately hired at TSM and within a month’s time, promoted to her current position. LaDaisha’s newfound passion for reentry compelled her to take advantage of every opportunity aimed at advocating for justice-impacted individuals. LaDaisha continuously forces herself out of her comfort zone and jumps at every opportunity to advance in her career.
Kayla Love, BSW
Reentry Case Manager
Kayla Love is a Reentry Case Manager at The SoulFisher Ministries. Prior to gaining employment with TSM, she was an active volunteer with TSM for over a year. Kayla obtained her Bachelor’s in Psychology through the University of Missouri- Saint Louis and is currently working on her Master’s in Social Work. Ms. Love is a proud board member of the Kiwanis-Normandy 24:1 chapter. Kayla is passionate and confident in her ability to empower others who have encountered adversities to succeed in their life endeavors by any means necessary.
Katia Dunn, BSW
Reentry Case Manager
Katia Dunn is from Saint Louis, Missouri. She is a Reentry Case Manager at The SoulFisher Ministries. Her passion for helping others and making a difference allowed her to pursue her Bachelor’s in Social Work at Lincoln University. Katia has had the opportunity to work directly in her field and be hands-on in the community immediately after graduating college. Katia is excited about her future and the opportunities around her.
